Andina Advisors offers comprehensive financial planning and in-house portfolio management. We take our fiduciary responsibilities to heart with our independent advisory services and experienced, credentialed advisors.

What should I expect when I work with Andina?
Scroll down icon

There are several differences we’d be happy to discuss with you. For example, Andina works closely with families who are actively building wealth through their businesses and occupations—even if they do not yet have significant investable assets. We believe this stage is an important time to begin developing coordinated strategies that take into account long-term financial and tax considerations.
Our team offers access to a broad set of investment approaches and provides personalized coordination across wealth management and strategy planning. We collaborate with your other professional advisors, keep communication straightforward, and tailor our engagement to your goals and circumstances.

Do you need to manage all of our assets?
Scroll down icon

Andina does not need to manage all of your assets in order to provide guidance. It is important, however, that we have an understanding of your complete financial picture so we can craft plans that complement your broader portfolio.
Some families also use Andina alongside other advisors or family office structures. In those cases, elements of our approach can be integrated to support coordination across a total wealth plan.

Can I still work with my present tax and legal advisors?
Scroll down icon

Yes. We regularly coordinate with clients’ existing tax and legal advisors. When specialized expertise is needed, we can also provide introductions to other professionals who may be able to supplement the team.

How does Andina work with me to develop a planning and investment strategy that meets our needs?
Scroll down icon

Our first and highest priority is to clearly understand your goals and to obtain an awareness of your current situation. Client objectives drive planning strategy and establish the parameters for investment portfolios. For example, imminent significant events such as college for children and retirement help us establish liquidity needs inside an investment portfolio. Understanding the dynamics of your family relationships impacts our approach to estate planning and family governance. Identifying your ideal retirement lifestyle contributes to the development of a retirement distribution system. The better we understand our clients, the better we can tailor planning to their needs.

Do you have special approaches for advising professional athletes. actors, performers and other highly compensated individuals with potentially short, high-income careers?
Scroll down icon

Yes. Careers with a potentially shorter span of high earnings often benefit from specialized planning. We help educate clients on creating and managing budgets while also developing long-term financial strategies. In some cases, we also serve as a buffer between clients and outside influences, helping them stay focused on their long-term objectives

Can you help me organize all my financial documents and provide a clearer picture of my investments?
Scroll down icon

Yes. We provide a secure web portal for clients who are interested. This portal allows for the consolidation of assets, liabilities, and investments, including accounts not directly managed by Andina (where information is available). An electronic vault is also available to help organize and store key financial documents such as deeds, trusts, and tax returns in one secure location. For clients who wish, bill payment services can be coordinated to help simplify cash flow management

How much money should I save for retirement?
Scroll down icon

This is the most common question we get asked by clients and one of the most complicated to answer. What we can say for sure is that we will collaborate with you to get a full understanding of your complete portfolio and balance that with your retirement goals.

When can I retire?
Scroll down icon

Much like the question above, the answer is complicated and bears a full discussion to get a complete picture to work toward. Getting these hard questions answered with the knowledge you have at the moment is key to developing your long-term plan. It is important to remember that adjustments can be made as the picture changes.
